STEAMfest 2024

Here is what's happening on campus

Students of all ages can learn about educational and professional opportunities in science and the arts. This year is centered around understanding and exploring natural phenomena and their synergy: Volcanoes, fossils, and imaging. 
  • Audience: The event is designed for families, focusing primarily on elementary and middle school children.
  • Cost: Attendance is free of charge, thanks to the generous sponsorship of community partners and UTPB.
  • Duration: This family-friendly event lasts for 2 hours.
  • Location: Activities will be spread throughout the science and technology building and the maker space at UTPB.
  • Activities: Attendees can engage in a variety of hands-on activities:
    • Interactive Booths: Created by UTPB students, professors, and community partners, these booths offer engaging activities that explore scientific and artistic concepts.
    • Maker Space: Participants have the opportunity to make things and engage in creative projects.
    • Educational Fun: The event offers a perfect blend of education and fun, ensuring a memorable experience for both children and parents.
