Patron Groups
UTPB Student
Students may use their UTPB ID card to check out up to 25 items at a time including books, DVDs, CDs, and laptops. The length of checkout and overdue fines vary by item.
UTPB Faculty
Faculty members may use their UTPB ID card to check out up to 100 items at a time including books, bound periodicals, DVDs, and CDs. The length of checkout and overdue fines vary by item.
UTPB Staff
Staff members may use their UTPB ID card to check out up to 40 items at a time including books, bound periodicals, DVDs, and CDs. The length of checkout and overdue fines vary by item.
Alumni
Alumni Association members may use their FAN card check out up to 5 books at a time for 14 days. Overdue fees are $.25 per day.
Community
Community members may purchase a library card for $25 a year and check out 5 books at a time for 14 days. Overdue fees are $.25 per day.
ECISD Teacher
ECISD Teachers may use their School Id and Texas Drivers License to check out up to two books at a time for up to 14 days. Overdue fees are $.25 per day.
Retired UTPB Faculty
Retired UTPB Faculty members may get a free library card to check out up to 10 books at a time for up to 28 days.
TexShare Member
TexShare Members may use their TexShare Card to check out up to 5 books at a time for up to 14 days. Overdue fees are $.50 per day.
Youth
Youth library cards are available allowing members to check out up to 2 books at a time for up to 14 days.
