As summer quickly approaches, families are once again faced with the challenge of finding engaging, reliable activities for school-aged children. The University of Texas Permian Basin offers a variety of youth camps and programs designed to keep kids active, learning, and entertained during the summer months.
“Camps and other youth programs make a big difference in the lives of families,” Dr. Becky Spurlock, Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, said. “As a working parent of two children, I know how hard it can be to find activities to support my kids and keep them busy during the summer months. Plus, time spent on a college campus is fun and sets the tone for being a life-long learner.”
From athletic camps for aspiring basketball, football, and softball players to science-based programs for curious minds, UTPB offers something for every interest. Camps are available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
