Internal Audit and Advisory Services is an independent appraisal function to examine and evaluate UT Permian Basin activities as a service to the University.

Internal Audit and Advisory Services benefits the University by identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement in daily operations, determining the effectiveness of internal controls, and providing assurance of compliance with University and legislative regulations, policies, and procedures.
Our Goals:
- Provide independent, objective evaluations of the operations, policies, procedures, and controls at UT Permian Basin.
- Identify areas of improvement and make suggestions that add value and improve University operations.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, operational, and governance processes in keeping with mandated requirements and the University's mission, goals, and objectives.
