Emeritus Faculty
The University of Texas Permian Basin recognizes faculty members' distinguished and honorable service to the University by conferring emeritus titles upon retirement. Emeritus status can be granted to retired faculty only at the recommendation of the Faculty Senate and President and with the final approval of the University of Texas System Board of Regents.
