The Department of Human Performance is home to three of our academic programs: Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and Human Performance. Department of Human Performance students enjoy experiential learning in labs equipped specifically for simulated scenarios. This hands-on learning teaches skills related to exercise testing, performance assessment, and rehabilitation. Labs are designed to provide students unique, hands-on learning opportunities before they move on to practicum experiences. This realistic training benefits students as they transition to their careers.

  • The Biomechanics Lab uses advanced technology to study and conduct research related to human movement. 
  • The Anatomage table allows students to digitally explore 3D renderings of anatomy, one layer at a time. 
  • Midland Health Simulation and Learning Resource Center, the Athletic Training Lab, and the Exercise Science Lab offer students the opportunity to apply their skills in realistic environments.
