The Department of Counseling, Bilingual Education, and Educational Leadership helps outstanding individuals pursue their goal of becoming teachers, counselors, and educational leaders. Many of our programs are offered fully online or using hybrid learning environments; others are offered primarily face-to-face.
Graduates of our Counseling master’s program are eligible for licensure as licensed professional counselors and/or for certification as school counselors.
Our Master of Arts in Bilingual/ESL prepares students to become skilled bilingual or ESL teachers, curriculum developers, language assessment professionals, multilingual content specialists, and educational policy advocates, all equipped to elevate the field of multilingual education.
Students in our Educational Leadership programs obtain skills and practical experiences essential for school building level or district educational leadership positions. Our programs are grounded in practice and include progressive field experiences to assure you are fully prepared for practice upon graduation.
