Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers |
A. Increase the number of Hispanic engineering and STEM student involvement at UTPB. B. Promote the advancement of Hispanic engineers in the industry. C. Develop and participate in programs with industries related to our members' interests. D. Improve the retention of Hispanic students in engineering and STEM programs within UT Permian Basin. E. Assist the College of Engineering and other Colleges within the STEM fields at UTPB. |
Education Club |
The purposes of the club shall be; A. To provide an opportunity for anyone interested in teaching and working with children to share ideas and learn from one another; B. To provide members with the opportunity to perform service projects in the area; C. To provide members with the opportunity to get involved with the education department at a social level; and D. To recruit members and maintain an active membership file. |
UTeach STEM PB |
The purposes of the UTeach STEM PB are threefold: promote interest in STEM education including both science and mathematics among undergraduate students, encourage original research including presentations and publications of those results, and assist in the recruitment of students into STEM teaching at the K-12 level. |
American Society of Mechanical Engineers |
To inspire members to strive for success and achieve their full potential in their careers as engineers and leaders. Our purpose enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development across all engineering disciplines, while promoting the vital role of the engineer in society. |
ACS Chemistry Club |
To offer students in the chemical sciences the chance to build strong connections through professional networking, develop skills in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, to instill pride in the chemical sciences and raise awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist. |

Geoscience Club |
To educate geoscience students and offer opportunities to explore the field beyond the classroom. |
Psychology Club |
To provide psychology majors, minors, and interested students at UTPB with hands-on experience outside the classroom. Members will engage with psychology faculty, attend workshops, visit conferences and clinics, and network with professionals. Additionally, by maintaining an active Psychology Club for one year, UTPB can establish a chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, granting members international recognition for academic excellence. |
