UT Permian Basin is proud to have eight outstanding faculty members who’ve received STAR Faculty Grants. The University of TexasSystem supports this effort to recruit world-class faculty by providing funding for faculty positions, facilities and equipment. How Stars Are Chosen
UT System awards up to $300,000 for the recruitment of qualifying faculty members. Promising faculty members are nominated for the grant by their institution and must show evidence of accomplished research.
