UTPB Cheer Coach Terry Lane has opened Legacy Extreme, a family entertainment center in Midland.
Lane has owned the cheer and dance gym Legacy Elite in Midland for 22 years. Her new venture, Legacy Extreme, opened in June.
“We wanted to open something for the West Texas community that was family oriented, a place where everyone can come, have fun, be together, and leave happy!” said Lane.
Lane says teaching and coaching cheer and dance has always been her passion. She has participated in both sports since she was two years old.
“My dad was a tap dancer in a group that toured and performed, and my mom was a gymnastics coach for years, so honestly it came to me naturally. Since I was a young child, it has been all I wanted to do and now my youngest daughter is preparing to take over for me one day and it's all she wants to do as well,” said Lane.
UTPB Cheer and Dance is growing and improving every single week. Lane says this season they have a lot of talent on their team.
“We are so excited for what's to come with this spirit program!” said Lane.
