The community is invited to join UTPB for Freddyville, powered by Mighty Wash. Hosted by UTPB Athletics and spirit groups, the annual community tailgate returns for its second year, bringing students, families and community members together for an evening of tailgating, food, giveaways, performances and Falcon spirit.
The event will take place Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the football field next to the Kirk Building. Gates will open at 3 p.m. for vendors and tailgaters.
Attendees can enjoy:
- Tailgating, food, and giveaways
- Performances by the UTPB Band, Cheer and Dance teams
- Opportunities to meet UTPB athletics teams
- A chance for UTPB students to win a $500 scholarship
- Food from Texas Roadhouse, including a free burger for UTPB students with a valid UTPB ID
Coolers are welcome, and alcohol is permitted for attendees age 21 and older.
Whether you’re a UTPB student, a Falcon fan, or a member of the community, Freddyville is a chance to come together, enjoy the evening and get ready for another exciting year of UTPB Athletics.
