Even while campus is closed for Winter Break, UTPB keeps students moving forward. Admissions decisions, orientation sign-ups, and enrollment support continued—ensuring future Falcons didn’t miss a beat.

The University of Texas Permian Basin will be closed for Winter Break from December 22 through January 2, reopening on January 5. While campus offices will be closed, UTPB remains committed to supporting current and prospective students throughout the break to ensure admissions, enrollment, and financial aid processes continue moving forward.

Students who apply for admission during the break can still progress through key steps, including receiving an admissions decision, setting up their Falcon ID, registering for orientation, and, in many cases, enrolling in classes.

How to Get Help During the Break

Several Student Affairs and Enrollment Management offices will have staff monitoring and responding to inquiries sent to their official University email addresses. These inboxes will be reviewed daily, except on December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1.

Join Us for Super Saturday

UTPB will host Super Saturday, a one-stop enrollment event, on January 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mesa Lobby. This event will support both in-person and online students with admissions, advising, and enrollment needs.
