One professor at The University of Texas Permian Basin, is strengthening the University’s global presence through his leadership in bilingual education, educational technology, and international academic collaboration.
Dr. Amin Davoodi, Assistant Professor of Bilingual/ESL Education in the College of Education, chaired and led the planning and execution of the 2025 Technology-Enhanced Language Learning International Conference (TELIC). The open-access, free international conference is designed to advance innovation, accessibility, and global collaboration in technology-enhanced language learning.
Hosted virtually by the College of Education, TELIC 2025 drew more than 730 registered participants representing more than 70 countries. The conference provided educators and researchers around the world with access to current research, best practices, and emerging technologies in language learning.
TELIC 2025 marked the third year of the international conference and continued its mission to promote academic collaboration. Through the conference’s success, UTPB further solidified its role as a leader in bilingual education, educational technology, and global academic engagement.
