Duck Pond
- Available hours: November-February 8am-6pm and March-October 7am-8pm
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited
- No people or pets may enter nor deposit waste in any body of water on University property.
Pool Parties
- Maximum number of guests is 125
- $150 non-refundable rental fee, 2-hour minimum, $25 each additional hour
- $200 after 6pm non-refundable rental fee, 2-hour minimum, $25 each additional hour
- Lifeguards are required and are an additional fee:
- 1-25 persons = 2 guards $40/hour
- 26-50 persons = 3 guards $60/hour
- 51-75 persons = 4 guards $80/hour
- 76-125 persons = 5 guards $100/hour
Catering
Catering is available for your event at an additional cost. UT Permian Basin exclusively uses Chartwell’s, and we will assist you in making an order for your event. A variety of options are available, such as breakfast, buffets, boxed lunches, plated dinners, sweet and salty snacks, and more. IT and Audio/Visual
Let us know how we can assist in making your event look and sound great. We have a variety of audio/visual equipment to ensure a quality event.
The University charges $85 per hour with a minimum of two (2) hours for technical support. A one-week notice is required to hire any tech staff.
Set-Up
Set-up of tables, chairs, podiums, etc. are included in the rental fee.
Cleaning/Custodial Services
Cleaning services are included in the rental fee. Exceptions are: Outdoor events, extreme post-event cleaning services, and when use results in severe damage or lost or broken equipment. These exceptions will all incur additional charges. Reservations requiring Porter Service (custodian) on site during an event will also be charged an additional fee.
UTPB Police Department
Some events require UTPB Officer or other security to be present, for example, organized walks/runs or events where liquor is served. Rates for UTPB PD are $50 per hour per officer.
