Fire Reporting
The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008
The Higher Education Opportunities Act (HEOA) of 2008 requires universities with on-campus housing to issue a fire safety report annually. These reports include number of fires, causes, injuries and deaths, and the value of property damage.
It also includes a description of fire systems, fire drills, evacuation procedures, training programs, policies, and fire safety improvement plans.
