Biomedical Research Center

The Biomedical Research Center (BRC) is a new aspect of UTPB that focuses on areas such as cardiovascular disease, neuron- degenerative disease, selective drug delivery mechanisms, and CO releasing molecules as pharmaceutical drug systems. The BRC is housed within the College of Arts and Sciences where researchers have access to a large variety of resources.

The mission of the research center is to promote and support research capacity at The University of Texas Permian Basin. In doing so, ensure the delivery of meaningful, and competitive research outcomes in the biomedical field while providing a robust atmosphere to train scientists, biomedical professionals, and healthcare workforce for the Permian Basin. UTPB Biomedical Research Center (UTPB BRC) seeks collaborations with universities, biomedical research centers, and government laboratories.

Recent Accomplishments and Research Projects
