High schoolers interested in a career in education can get a taste of teaching this summer, freeof charge.
The University of Texas Permian Basin College of Education is hosting a two day camp designed to inspire the next generation of teachers. It’s called the Future Falcon Leaders in Teacher Education (FFLITE).
Participants will spend two and half days on-campus learning about a career in teaching and prepare a group lesson for presentation.
The FREE camp is set for June 12-14. The College of Education will offer a scholarship to one camp participant. The camp includes two nights inside the UT Permian Basin dorms, meals and a lot of fun.
