UTPB continues to monitor winter weather conditions and will adjust campus operations as needed.
Due to winter weather conditions, UTPB will close campus operations on Monday, January 26. Here’s what you need to know:

  • In-person classes: Canceled for Monday.
  • Online classes: All online classes will continue as usual.


Academic Support: Academic resources remain available. Students may submit writing submissions to OWL@utpb.edu for help. Virtual tutor appointments with a UTPB tutor remain an option and can be scheduled through MyUTPB under “Student Success” or by emailing success@utpb.edu. Lastly, on-demand virtual tutoring with a professional tutor is accessible through the “Brainfuse” link in your Canvas course.

If you lose power or experience difficulties accessing Canvas, notify deanofstudents@utpb.edu once you regain access. We will work with you and your instructors.

Campus Operations:


Falcon Café (Residence & Dining Hall):
Open 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. If you don’t have a meal plan, you can pay at the door:

  • Breakfast – $8.87
  • Lunch – $10.06
  • Dinner – $10.49

Student Activity Center: The SAC will remain open.

Gym & Fitness Centers: Closed.

Library: Closed; staff available remotely at libraryservices@utpb.edu.

University offices are closed, but services remain available remotely:
