What is Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 delivers the power of cloud productivity to businesses of all sizes, helping save time, money, and free up valued resources. Office 365 combines the familiar Microsoft Office desktop suite with cloud-based versions of Microsoft's next-generation communications and collaboration services-including Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Office Online, and Microsoft Skype for Business Online-to help users be productive from virtually anywhere through the Internet.

Accessing Office 365 using your web browser

You can access your email using your browser by going to my.utpb.edu, portal.office.com, or by configuring an email client on your work workstation or mobile device.

Password Reset

If you are having trouble accessing your email at www.outlook.com/utpb.edu, to reset your password students can go to falconid.utpb.edu and choose the "Password Reset" button. Employees must come in person to ITS with a photo ID. Contact ITS Support at help@utpb.edu or (432) 552-4357.

How Students can Automatically Forward Emails

  1. Log on to your mailbox via UTPB Office 365. Be sure to use your UTPB email address as your username.
  2. Click the gear icon at the top-right and click Mail.
  3. Choose Forwarding from the menu on the left, select "Start Forwarding", enter the email address you want to forward to, verify that the email address is correct, then click Save.

Review all of the information carefully. Your email will no longer be saved in your Office 365 mailbox once you complete this setup.

Please note that email delivery to non-UTPB mailboxes cannot be guaranteed by UTPB. Once a message leaves the UTPB email system, you are subject to the rules and regulations of the system to which you are forwarding.
