Welcome to the Office of Internal Audit. We are an independent appraisal function to examine and evaluate activities as a service to the Internal Audit Committee, the President, and senior management of U.T. Permian Basin. The Office's functions are achieved through the following activities:
- Providing independent, objective assurance & consulting services
- Identifying areas of improvement and making recommendations that add value and improve University operations
- Evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, operational, and governance processes in keeping with mandated requirements and the University's mission, goals, and objectives.
We are here to support the University's mission and goals and to work in collaboration with management to enhance accountability at all levels.
