Student Research Ambassadors Program
The Student Research Ambassadors (SRA) program expands campus awareness of research, provides peer-to-peer support, and helps integrate research into the student experience at UT Permian Basin. Ambassadors—selected undergraduate and graduate students—promote opportunities, lead info sessions, and serve as liaisons between the Office of Student Research and academic departments.
Ambassadors’ Responsibilities
- Represent the University at outreach events.
- Facilitate informational workshops.
- Offer peer mentoring and referrals to resources.
- Help organize research symposia and Student Research Day.
- Partner with OSR to increase the visibility and accessibility of research opportunities.
