What to do after apply for the FAFSA
Have you completed your FAFSA and has UTPB received it? If yes, here's what's next! Check your student email for a missing information letter. Check the student portal for your Financial Aid To-Do List.
Complete Your To-Do List
Log in to your Student Portal. Your To-Do checklist will be accessible from the 'Financial Resources' tab. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will review your records/submission to determine your eligibility for financial aid funds.
How to Complete your Financial Aid Checklist
Award Letter
When your Financial Aid file is complete, you should receive an Award Letter. The letter will show the type and amount of aid awarded for the fall and spring semesters. Summer aid is not generally awarded until April. Awards are based on full-time attendance in the terms listed and may be adjusted based on your enrollment status for each term. All awards need to be accepted in order to be received.
