The Office of Student Accounts and Follett Bookstore book voucher process allows for the purchase of your books at the UTPB Bookstore. Book vouchers will be available no later than two weeks prior to the start of classes.

How much can I get?

Undergraduate students can earn up to $1,000 depending on how many hours they’re taking.

Graduate students can earn up to $1,000 depending on how many credit hours they’re taking.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who would like to apply for a book voucher must complete the application process each term.
  • Students must be enrolled in at least six semester credit hours.
  • Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Students cannot have a past due balance from a prior term nor can they have an account that has been sent to collections. Students must agree to the book voucher amount being added to their student bill.

How it works

  • Apply for an electronic book voucher inside My Finances on the myUTPB portal. Once you’ve applied, you will be shown the amount you are approved for.
  • Please advise the cashier at the bookstore that you’re using a book voucher. You must have your UTPB ID card with you.
  • The charges will be billed to your student account.
  • You can make purchases at the bookstore until the last day to use your book voucher or until you’ve spent the full amount of your book voucher, whichever comes first.
