Electronic Book Voucher

The Office of Student Accounts and Follett Bookstore book voucher process allows for the purchase of your books at the UTPB Bookstore. Book vouchers will be available no later than two weeks prior to the start of classes.

Students who would like to apply for a book voucher must complete the application process each term. Please review the book voucher eligibility criteria below before submitting your application. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be enrolled in at least six semester credit hours for the current term.
• Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (non-degree seeking and dual-credit students are not eligible).
• Students cannot have a past due balance from a prior term nor can they have an account that has been sent to collections.
• Students must agree to the book voucher amount being added to their student bill.

How much is my book voucher?

Book vouchers are awarded based on your enrollment status. Use the following chart to determine the maximum amount you can receive in a book voucher: 

How it works

• Complete the application for an electronic book voucher inside My Finances on the myUTPB portal. 
• You will be notified immediately by email to let you know how much you are approved for and when you will be able to use the voucher in the bookstore. 
• You must agree to and sign the promissory note in your myUTPB portal before use.
• Please advise the cashier at the bookstore that you’re using a book voucher. You must have your UTPB ID card with you.
• The charges will be billed to your student account. Monitor your myUTPB portal for the charges.
• You can make several purchases at the bookstore until the last day to use your book voucher or until you’ve spent the full amount of your book voucher, whichever comes first.
