- New Semester Begins Monday
It is the dawn of a new semester at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
Before you head to your first class on Monday, January 14th, we want to make sure you’re ready for a great spring 2019.
The Office of the Registrar suggests students check their student portal for any holds that could prevent access to their student account. Those holds could be a Texas Success Initiative hold, accounting, advising, etc. If you notice a specific hold on your account, contact the corresponding department to get it taken care of.
While you’re inside your student portal, take a look at your bill and make sure financial aid (if applicable) is in place. Non-payment could result in being dropped from your course.
If you’ve never been on our campus before, we invite you to take a look around before your first class. Get a feel for where your classes will be and double check the locations have not changed.
You can access the student portal here: http://my.utpb.edu. If you have never signed in to the student portal, there are instructions once you click the link above.
The Office of Student Life is working to make the first week of classes fun and set the tone for a successful semester. All students are invited to participate in Welcome Week, January 14-17.
