UTPB Dunagan Library

The J. Conrad Dunagan Library participates in a cooperative agreement called TexShare with a number of other Texas universities, community colleges, and public libraries. This program allows UTPB students, faculty, and staff to use other libraries in the State of Texas. To take advantage of these programs, you will need a card identifying you as a UTPB affiliate.

UTPB students, faculty, and staff at the main campus in Odessa:

Apply for a TexShare card at the Library Services Desk. The library staff verifies that you are a currently enrolled student or currently employed staff/faculty member in good standing. Patrons with outstanding library fines must pay their fines prior to the issuance of a TexShare card. TexShare cards are valid for one semester.

Distance Education students:

Apply for a TexShare card by filling out an application (see below) and sending it via email to libraryservices@utpb.edu. Upon receipt of your application, the library staff will verify that you are a UTPB affiliate in good standing and will send your card to the mailing address you provided on your application. Patrons with outstanding library fines must pay their fines prior to the issuance of a TexShare Card. TexShare cards are valid for one semester.

Remember! When you visit and borrow materials from another library, the rules, procedures, and due dates are set by that library and you are expected to honor their policies. You are responsible for returning borrowed materials and covering any related fines or fees.
