STEP Team
Stepping Up for UTPB Spirit
The UTPB Step Team has been in existence since 2009. The group consists of men and women who enjoy executing rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, stomps, spoken words, and hand claps. The step team is also known as HFIC (Head Falcon in Charge). To learn more about the cultural phenomenon of stepping and whether it’s right for you, read more at https://www.nationalstepleague.org.
Scholarships & Requirements
UTPB offers a Step Team scholarship for eligible students. In order to receive a scholarship, students must try out for the team, attend required practice and performances, be a full-time student during both Fall and Spring semesters, and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
