UTPB now has TWO makerspaces on its campus - the Innovation Lab @ the Dunagan Library and the Prototype Lab @ the CEED. The makerspaces are free to access for UTPB students, faculty, and staff - users only need to cover costs associated with materials and equipment time.
The makerspaces are available for class use or for personal projects - whatever you need, you can build it here!
We also offer community memberships for non-UTPB persons that want to get access to the makerspaces. All the information on where the makerspaces are located and how to get started using them is included here. If you have any questions, we look forward to hearing from you.

Release and Indemnification Agreement
All users of the makerspaces must complete this agreement. Please fill it out and sign it and bring it with you to your orientation session so that we can store it.

Orientation Registration
Before you can use the equipment in the makerspaces, you will need to attend an orientation session and make sure that you have completed and submitted your release and indemnification agreement. New orientation sessions are added regularly, so if you don't see one that works for you, please check back. If you cannot make any of the times, let us know and we can try to add an additional session for you.
