Family Weekend 2023
UT Permian Basin's Family Weekend is set for Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30. Students and their families will have time to explore UTPB, have meals together, take part in fun activities on campus, and have the opportunity to attend a football game! Be sure to register to let us know your family is attending.
Registration
Registration is $30 for family members and $15 for students, and children 5 and under are free.
Registration closes on Tuesday, September 26. If you have questions about the registration form or need assistance, please email studentlife@utpb.edu or call (432) 552-2651.

Friday, September 29
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- Check-in - UTPB Library
6:30 PM
- Dinner - UTPB Library: Reconnect with your student(s) and other families over dinner in our newly renovated library. Hear from campus administrators and get updates on university projects and events.
7:30 PM
- Casino Night - Student Activity Center (SAC): This is your chance to be part of a typical Student Life event! Casino Night is open to all students and Family Weekend attendees. Play for your chance to win various prizes.
Saturday, September 30
9:00 AM
- Nature Trail Walk - SAC Patio: Wake up and get the day started with a walk around our beautiful nature trail on campus!
11:00 AM
- Brunch - SAC: Join us for a late morning meal and interact with UTPB faculty and staff members. Get to know our team, ask questions, and enjoy good conversation.
12:00 PM
- Tie Dye - SAC Patio: A Falcon favorite! We'll provide the tie dye supplies and you bring the creativity! All registrants will be able to tie dye a shirt and youth sizes will be available for siblings.
3:00 PM
- Football Tailgate - Ratliff Stadium: Meet up with the Office of Student Life and Campus Activities Board for some pre-game fun! We will have refreshments, games, and face painting available.
6:00 PM
- Football Game - Ratliff Stadium: Tickets are sold separately. Parents of UTPB students receive a discounted rate of $10.00/ticket. Visit www.utpbfalcons.com to purchase your football tickets.
