All program participants are provided with a 90-day membership to Tooling U-SME, an online educational platform from the workforce development division of SME, a non-profit professional association dedicated to advancing manufacturing. The platform contains hundreds of online courses across a variety of manufacturing topics. You can view them here: Tooling U-SME Catalog
We are also partnering with the Texas Workforce Commission, the state agency responsible for managing workforce development, unemployment benefits, and labor market services for Texas employers and workers.
Program cost can be offset through the Texas Workforce Commission's Skills Development Fund, so for employers that qualify, this program is completely FREE.
