UT Permian Basin’s Graphic Design concentration combines the fundamentals of fine art with the power of visual communication. This program equips students with the creative and technical skills to design for both digital and print media—preparing them to work across industries from advertising and marketing to publishing and user experience.

Degree Requirements
To earn a BA in Art, students must complete 120 semester credit hours distributed across the following key areas:
- 42 hours of General Education courses
- 15 hours of Art Core courses
- 12 hours of Graphic Design Emphasis courses
- 3 hours of Graphic Design Internship
- 6 hours of Upper-Level Art or Minor Electives
- Minor requirements vary by discipline
