Minor in Accountancy
The Accounting Minor gives students in complementary majors a background in financial and managerial accounting, taxation, financial and data analysis, and forecasting. The minor will prepare you to work in banking and consulting in both the public and private sectors and will help you understand and control your success in an entrepreneurial or small business. The Accounting Minor also helps prepare you for advanced graduate coursework in accounting and business.
Minor in Accounting Requirements
- Students must complete 18 semester credit hours to earn a minor in Accounting
- Students are required to complete ACCT 2301 and ACCT 2301.
- Required upper-level courses include: ACCT 3301, ACCT 3302, ACCT 3303 and ACCT 3305.
