Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology
Degree Requirements
- The minimum total credits required for a B.S. in Geology is 120.
- All required and elective courses must be completed with a grade of “C−“ or better.
- All candidates must fulfill the Core Curriculum, Support Science, and Geology Major requirements.
Geology Major Requirements
The Bachelor of Science degree in Geology requires 38 upper level semester credit hours, at least 24 of them must be from UT Permian Basin.
- Students are required to take a GEOL 4600 Summer Field Geology Course.
- Students have the option to complete 18 semester credit hours in a minor of their choice.
