Online Bachelor's Degree in Humanities - Finish@UT

Much like the general Humanities track, the accelerated track gives students the opportunity to earn a B.A. in Humanities in less time. Students are still able to craft an individualized plan of study through online courses offered at several UT System institutions.

Degree Requirements

• The B.A. in Humanities requires a minimum of 120 total credits.
• All required and elective courses must be completed with a grade of "C-" or better.

Humanities Major Requirements

• Students are required to complete 30 semester credit hours of Humanities Core courses and 24 semester credit hours of Humanities accelerated completion courses.
• The 24  semester credit hours of accelerated courses must be distributed across at least two of the following areas: Communication, History, Art, Music or other HUMN labeled courses. 
• Courses suggested for each discipline should be selected based on the availability of eight-week accelerated online courses through UT Permian Basin, UT El Paso, and UT Arlington.
• Other appropriate courses, either face-to-face or online in semester-length format, may be used to fulfill requirements for each area
