Minor in Women’s Studies
A Women’s Studies minor helps you learn to think critically, research, and advocate for women in society. Women’s Studies examines social and cultural constructs of gender, systems of privilege and oppression. These skills are beneficial in a wide range of professions.
A minor in Women’s Studies at UT Permian Basin allows students to investigate and explore the cultural, political and socio-economic status of women, past and present.
Minor Requirements
- Students are required to complete 18 semester credit hours to earn a minor in Women's Studies.
- Courses in the student's major area are excluded from their minor choices, except for the required courses.
