Minor in Psychology

A minor in Psychology supports students who are interested in broadening their knowledge of behavior and mental processes in our modern world. This can be of great value in business, teaching, government, health, and human service careers.

Minor Requirements

  • Students must complete 18 semester credit hours to earn a minor in Psychology. Twelve of the 18 hours must be upper-level courses.
  • PSYC 1301 is required.
  • Students may choose Psychology courses of their preference to fulfill the remaining hours.

To declare a Minor in Psychology, obtain advice, or seek approval of substitutions for course requirements, students should consult their academic advisor.
